UATO.SG Terms of Use

1. Data Protection
Personal Data Protection Act
By enrolling to UATO.SG, you agree that Garuda Robotics may collect, use and disclose personal data, as collected on UATO.SG or obtained by Garuda Robotics as a result of your subscription or signing up for courses offered under Garuda Robotics Academy, for the following purposes in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and our data protection policy (available on our website):
- Processing your UATO.SG account
- Administering your UATO.SG account
- Delivering the UATO.SG courses and services
You need to be at least 13 years old to be able to consent to PDPA.
Your instructors will have full access to your official learning records, including but not limited to flight records, answers to theory quizzes, and your contact details.
We reserve the right to suspend your account if you are found using UATO.SG in a manner that contravenes our terms or the laws of Singapore.
We do not store your credit card information on our servers (compliance with PCI DSS SAQ A).
We will only collect the last 4 characters of your NRIC / Passport during enrolment. However, before all UAPL examinations, we will collect your full NRIC for submission together with your examination results to CAAS for the issuance of your UAPL.
2. Your UATO.SG Account
Account Policy and Usage Quota
There are no Usage Quota on your UATO.SG account, except what is deemed as an Acceptable Use, which caps the total cloud storage of your data to 1GB.
UATO.SG accounts are not transferable, and not allowed to be shared between Trainees.
At the end of your flight lessons, you can choose to export your flight records on UATO.SG to Garuda Plex for your professional use, so that it accumulates towards your flight currency. Cancellation
All information stored in UATO.SG is retained for at least 5 years. If you would like to cancel your UATO.SG account and remove your data permanently, please contact us at [email protected].
3. Payment
UATO.SG accounts are free of charge currently to all UATO.SG Trainees. To create an account, you must purchase at least one course offered on UATO.SG course catalogue.
Payment Methods
We currently accept credit/debit cards, PayNow or internet bank transfer.
Communication
Upon purchase of a course, you will receive an email with the invoice (when requested) and a link to the payment processors. You will receive a payment receipt via email for each payment. No paper receipts or invoices shall be issued.
4. CAAS UATO / UAPL Regulations
UATO.SG is a learning management system for supporting Garuda Robotics Academy, a UA Training and Assessment Organisation (UATO) regulated service by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), for the purpose of conducting training that leads to the issuance of a UA Pilot Licence (UAPL) specified under Part 4 of the Air Navigation (101 – Unmanned Aircraft Operations) Regulations.
All data created on UATO.SG might be selected for audit by Garuda Robotics Quality Manager or CAAS appointed auditors. By signing up on UATO.SG, you agree to have your data audited as deemed necessary by CAAS.
